Chris E. Lewallen

Georgia native, Chris Lewallen is a self-taught artist who says he has been painting as long as he can remember. As a teenager he worked on a farm. As an adult he is a Paramedic and working in surgery at an eye surgery center.

Chris started selling his artwork back in 1992.  His art is in many private collections and his work has been on book covers, and many businesses and organizations have used his artwork…Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, R.E.M., Museum of American Folk Art, the House of Blues, the 1996 Olympics and the Atlanta Falcons.

He paints bright, colorful paintings which consist mostly of animals and people. Lewallen uses enamel paint on tin, wood, tree limbs or any found objects that he thinks is interesting.
