George and I have been seriously collecting southern outsider folk art since the early 90’s.  Our house is like a museum…art in every room…every wall…and some ceilings.  Nothing is for sale…it’s just for our enjoyment.

You don’t need a decorator with a master plan. Our theory is: if YOU like it…display it. If your friends like it, fine.…if NOT, that’s their problem..not yours. Don’t let ‘em discourage you.

Remember….art doesn’t have to match the drapes.

We were exhibitors at SLOTIN'S FOLK FEST in ATLANTA every year since 2004 until the show was discontinued, a couple years ago.

We've been selling on the web since 2000….we don’t have a brick and mortar store. Thru the years we have built a large customer base with hundreds of collectors from coast to coast.  We have found that there aren’t enough serious folk art collectors in this area.  But, we want to get folks around here to appreciate outsider folk art. After being exposed…they’ll probably find that the genre just grows on you!

FOLKS ASK…WHAT SHOULD I BUY?  Our advice…..never buy with the idea that it’s just a good investment. Don’t buy a piece of art because you think it’ll go up in value.  COLLECT what YOU LIKE…and ENJOY IT…...IF….it goes up in value…THAT’S A BONUS.

If you…or someone you know,  makes folk art (not crafts). We might be able to help you get distribution.  Our percentage of each sale is low…we are not greedy like some of the big galleries. Making money is not our main goal! We want to help emerging artists get recognition.   Send a short bio, jpegs of your work and prices and we’ll see if we can help.
