WM. H. CLARK

William H. Clarke  (1950) is a Black Folk Artist living and working

in Virginia.  His work depicts his memories of growing up in the

black community.  His paintings of rural life have won critical and

popular acclaim. He was featured in the Corcoran Gallery's traveling

exhibit,"Common Ground.”   His work has been featured in museums

and galleries around the country, including the Governor's Mansion

in Richmond.
